Patient Care Technician Training and Certification

Hands-On Patient Care:
Online + In-Person Curriculum

Our Patient Care Technician (PCT) Hybrid Program combines online learning with hands-on clinical skills training to prepare students for certification and entry-level patient care roles in just four days.
Through three days of online training, students gain a comprehensive understanding of vital signs, infection control, patient hygiene, mobility assistance, anatomy, and healthcare communication. They learn how to support nurses and physicians in hospitals, long-term care, and rehabilitation settings.

On the final in-person training day, students apply their knowledge in a simulated clinical environment. They practice vital sign assessment, patient transfers, bed making, specimen collection, EKG recording, and phlebotomy techniques under instructor supervision.

Upon successful completion, students receive a Halo Health Certificate of Completion and are eligible to sit for the national certification exam through AMCA or American Allied Health (AAH).
